I figured out a way to guard the front stoop and be lazy at the same time. I’m so good at multi-tasking!

Abortion seems to be the only medical procedure that people want to deny you based on how you got in that situation.

Drove drunk, got in an accident and need an organ transplant? No problem.

Messing around with a gun, accidentally shoot yourself in the leg and need surgery? Of course.

Smoke tobacco for most of your life and need treatment for lung cancer? Yep.

Climb a tree, fall out and break your leg? We’ll fix that right up.

Have sex and get pregnant when you don’t want to be? YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO THIS SITUATION AND YOU DESERVE NO MEDICAL HELP OR COMPASSION! THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU WILL DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES!

if I offered you $20, would you take it?

How about if I crumpled it up?

Stepped on it?

you would probably take it even though it was crumpled and stepped on it. Do you know why?

Because it is still $20, and its worth has not changed.

The same goes for you; if you have a bad day, or if something bad happens to you, you are not worthless.

if someone crumples you up or steps on you, your worth does not change. You are still just as valuable as you were before.

i saw your post about moffat and i understand, i once thought moffat was a good writer, then i thought he was an okay writer and then i thought he is a sexist douchebag. here's a post about the many reasons why. i want to not hate him but when he says shit like this i have to forget all the good things he has done. and for me it's like a few episodes. have fun sylviatietjens(.)co(.)vu/post/82906555781/what-makes-people-say-that-steven-moffat-is-sexist

I never said he wasn’t sexist. I have no opinion on him as a person. I try to keep my opinions strictly professional when judging a person’s work. Looking at his work, he is a good writer. He writes interesting story lines and complex plots. And if I do say so myself, he is a much better horror writer than anything else. In fact his writing would fit the gothic horror genre pretty well. As for the regards to women in his stories, in gothic horror one of the factors is a damsel in distress.

Is he sexist? Probably. Does it reflect in his work? Sometimes. Does it make him a bad writer? Not really. You can say he is bad at writing women but you can’t say that makes him a terrible writer in general.

i’m in the mood for a boy with a deep voice to tell me nice things

I am so fucking sick of everyone calling Moffat a terrible writer. Girl in the Fireplace? Yes that was fucking horrendous. The Empty Child and the Doctor Dances? Ugh the worst. Blink? Silence in the Library? Forest of the Dead? And I don’t give a shit what people say, River and her story line was fucking creative and interesting.

I don’t care how you think of him as a person but you can’t say he can’t fucking write.
